Custom FACEIT Widget Templates
Every template is fully customisable — change colours, fonts, visible stats, and add your own video background. No two streams look the same.
Custom FACEIT widget templates
A template is the look of your overlay: the layout, colours, fonts, effects and background around your live FACEIT stats. EgoWidgets includes a library of ready-made designs and lets you adjust each one in the Studio, so your FACEIT overlay matches your stream instead of looking like everyone else’s.
The FACEIT overlay templates are grouped into default and animated styles. Pick one to start from, tune it, and use it in OBS like any other EgoWidgets overlay.
Template styles
NeonPulse
Glowing neon lines that pulse with your ELO. Pick any accent colour.
Anime
Anime-style overlay with flowing gradient background animation.
Video Background
A looping video plays behind your stats.
Win Streak Mode
The overlay transforms automatically when you hit 5 wins in a row.
Custom CSS
Full CSS control in the custom template editor, to build your own look.
Other design styles to build on include brutalist, pixel arcade, broadcast lower-third, tactical HUD, glass, comic, retro LCD, chrome and a starship console.
What you can customise
- →Accent colour — any hex colour for borders, highlights and icons
- →Fonts — a global font plus per-element fonts and sizes
- →Visible stats — switch ELO, level, K/D, win rate, matches, last-20 results, average kills and ELO history on or off
- →Size — the width and height the overlay renders at
- →Animations — turn motion on or off
- →Backgrounds — a video, a win streak video or an image
Everything is adjusted in the Studio with a live preview. To check how a template reads over gameplay, the Studio can preview it on backdrops of CS2 maps such as Dust2, Mirage, Inferno, Nuke, Ancient, Anubis and Cache. That is a preview aid only; it does not change your widget.
Video backgrounds and custom templates
Some templates ship with a looping video behind the stats, and a separate win streak video can take over at five wins in a row. In the custom template editor you can build your own: choose a base design, set an accent colour and font, and add a video, a win streak video or a background image by link. There is also a custom CSS option for full control. Custom templates are stored in the browser where you create them.
Choosing a template for your stream
Match the template to the mood of your channel. Clean designs such as glass or broadcast lower-third suit talk-heavy and review streams. High-energy styles like neon, anime and comic fit hype-driven ranked sessions. The tactical HUD and starship console styles lean into a game-UI look, and retro LCD suits a nostalgic or low-key layout. Whichever you pick, check the contrast against your game capture and keep the accent colour consistent with the rest of your scene.
Using a custom template in OBS
A custom FACEIT overlay works like every other EgoWidgets overlay: copy the widget URL from the Studio and add it to OBS Studio or Streamlabs as a Browser Source, then set the width and height to the template’s size (most are 440 × 140). The full steps are on the FACEIT overlay for OBS page, and how to add FACEIT ELO to OBS covers the basics. Just after your rating? Start with the FACEIT ELO widget.
